But was it made by Yoko Ono?? please HELP ME to undersand!!! GeoVII (1 year ago) Show Hide +4 Marked as spam Reply | Spam The 'song' doesn't mean anything in a traditional sense. The idea is to create something which can be read on different levels. The repetitive screaming of 'why' could represent either a child throwing a temper tantrum or a confused/angry adult questioning an injustice. It could also be self referential, such as "Why am I screaming, and why are you listening?" Anyway, it's OK if you don't like it. Yoko isn't for everyone, and not everyone is for Yoko, so it works out fine in the end. XD Holdenon3 (11 months ago) Show Hide 0 Marked as spam Reply | Spam Actually, mar7412, Why Not is the title of a number on side 2 of the album. Kewl, eh? :D TEMPmichaelhansen (8 months ago) Show Hide 0 Marked as spam Reply | Spam PRIMAL SCREAM THERAPY by Dr. Arthur Janov. Janov's first book on the subject, The Primal Scream, was published in 1970. go to "Yoko Ono Dont Worry Koyoko" where the guy is playing the record and look at my other postings. TEMPmichaelhansen (8 months ago) Show Hide +2 Marked as spam Reply | Spam for the truley ignorant Ono came to her marriage with Lennon a fully formed artist and composer, a member of the Fluxus group who had collaborated with John Cage, LaMonte Young, Ornette Coleman and Charlie Haden. Yet, until recently, Ono has never received due consideration as a musician. In the popular imagination, she has been variously portrayed as John Lennon's weird girlfriend, the woman who broke pp the Beatles oakberry61woohalol (7 months ago) Show Hide +3 Marked as spam Reply | Spam THIS IS FUCKING TORTURE! The A-side of the single is "Mother" by John Lennon BulbousAlsoTapered (5 months ago) Show Hide +1 Marked as spam Reply | Spam Better (and probably easier) to get the album. Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono band - a companion to John's post-Beatle masterpiece. That way you get to hear her with Ornette Coleman. Worth noting that Ringo is drumming on here. One of Yoko's best efforts.
